This was a casual GRWM for one of those warm, busy days where I wanted to look polished, but still feel relaxed and comfortable enough to walk a lot.

The color idea here is an incomplete triad, or half triad: using two colors blue and red from a triadic scheme instead of all three, so the outfit feels intentional without becoming too loud.

• The soft blue blouse brings freshness and becomes the hero piece.
• The dark denim keeps everything casual and grounded.
• The red flats add a clear color pop while staying comfortable.
• The small scarf detail connects the colors in a softer, less obvious way.

For me, this is a very real-life outfit formula: easy movement, comfortable shoes, but still a styled finish.

Most of these looks were for the evenings, when the weather felt a little cooler, and we were getting ready for dinner at The Oberoi Vanyavilas.

The days were warm, but in a pleasant way, and the evenings had that softer, calmer feeling that made everything feel more relaxed.

So the outfits followed that mood: comfortable, easy, a little polished, but never too done.

One look was for the safari.
The rest were for dinner, slow walks around the hotel, and those quiet travel moments that become part of the memory.

Mom life and work from home days don’t always need a “proper” outfit.
Sometimes one sharp detail is enough to make everyday clothes feel styled.
For this GRWM, that detail was my red pointed-toe flats, and honestly, they made the whole look feel more alive.

• Start with a black-and-white base when you want red shoes to feel chic, not too loud.

✨Choose a pointed toe when you want flats that visually lengthen the leg and feel more polished instantly.

✨Add one practical third piece, like an open shirt, to make the outfit look finished but effortless, without sacrificing comfort or movement all day.
Color can be one of the easiest ways to make your Color can be one of the easiest ways to make your outfits look more intentional , even when you are not following trends.

Here are 4 simple color combinations you can start using with the color wheel:

Monochromatic: one color family, mixed through different shades, tints and textures. Elegant, elongating and easy to repeat.

Analogous: colors that sit next to each other on the color wheel. Soft, harmonious and perfect when you want color without too much contrast.

Complementary: opposite colors that create energy and impact. The secret is balance — one color leads, the other supports.

Triad: three colors spaced around the wheel. Playful, creative and stronger when one color is the main character.

Color theory is not about dressing by strict rules. It is about understanding why some outfits feel balanced, modern and more “put together.”

Which one would you actually wear: monochromatic, analogous, complementary or triad?
